For the second year in a row, the favorite for the Kentucky Derby will not run because of an injury. Eskendereya, who easily won the Wood Memorial earlier this month, was withdrawn from Saturday's Run for the Roses because of an injured left front leg. Last year, I Want Revenge was scratched the morning of the race with an injured ankle. With Eskendereya out, Churchill Downs morning-line maker Mike Battaglia made the Bob Baffert-trained Lookin At Lucky the 3-1 favorite.
