French Open Draw Live 2009 was start on Tuesday, 19th May, 2009.The men’s and women’s singles draws will be selected on Friday at 11:30. The official ceremony begins at 11:30 am in the Tenniseum at Roland Garros .On Friday, Ana Ivanovic and Rafael Nodal, the French Open champion of 2008, will have a hand in crafting this year's draw.

Nodal and Ivanovic will be the responsible to start the seeds for the 2009 French Open field when the draw is conducted on Friday 22nd may at 11:30 a.m. Paris time and 5:30 a.m. Eastern time.
The draw is one of the key moments of "French Open Draw live 2009" in the tournament as it determines who will play whom in the first round and then right through to the later stages. Four-time French Open champion Nadal and Ivanovic will both be on hand to draw the seeds for the 2009 French Open field when the draw is conducted on Friday at 11:30 a.m. The remaining 96 players in each tournament will then be drawn electronically.
