2009 Bolder Boulder Race Results Announced

The 31st Bolder Boulder best race was started on 25th May 2009 at 7 a.m on a perfect day for running cool temperatures and overcast skies. The 10k race was the largest Memorial Day race in the country. More than 55000 people walked and run in the 31st annual Bolder Boulder on Memorial Day.

Earlier this month the one-millionth person in the history of the Bolder Boulder registered. The economic impact of the race is estimated at $10000000. The race concludes at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field.

They runners were busted into 84 diverse waves with the faster runners starting first. The Female best racers started just after 11a.m. and all completed the 6.2 miles within 32 minutes. And The Best men completed the course in less than 28 minutes. 19 years old Tilahun Regassa won the men’s best partition with the fastest time 28:17. 25 year old Mamito Dask won the women's best division in 32:48. Ethiopian teammates Tilahun Regassa and Tadese Tala ran away from the rest of the field easily separating themselves finishing with a 1-2 finish. Regassa finished a bit stronger than Tola crossing the line first in 28:17. Tola finished second in 28:36.

Ethiopians Mamito Daska and Teyba Erkesso finished 1-2running exceptional marks of 32:48 and 33:02. Coming in a strong third was Japanese runner Yurika Nakamurawhos time of 33:28 was the only other finished under 34 minutes as she ran 33:28.
