Robbie Earle the former Jamaica football international has been sacked by ITV as one of their World Cup pundits after selling match tickets meant for his friends and family. The 45-year-old, who had worked for the broadcaster for eight years, was dismissed when it emerged that a group of women involved in a marketing stunt were using tickets purchased by him. Earle, who played for Port Vale and Wimbeldon during his footballing career, had bought a block of 40 seats for the Holland versus Denmark game claiming they were for his friends and family. |
