In a game filled with juicy subplots, starting with Brett Favre's sexting scandal, the Jets held off a furious second-half Vikings rally Monday night for a 29-20 win at the Meadowlands worthy of all the hype. From Favre to Randy Moss to Darrelle Revis to Santonio Holmes there was no shortage of stormy story lines in this prime-time showdown. In the end, Favre reverted back to his vintage turnover-prone self to seal the win for Rex Ryan's club. Dwight Lowery intercepted Favre, who also lost two fumbles, and ran for a touchdown with 1:30 to go to help the Jets (4-1) win their fourth in a row and stay atop the AFC East. |
