Dickson Etuhu articulated the harsh reality of Fulham’s Europa League final defeat on Wednesday night. “The difference,” the midfielder said, “was that they had world-class strikers.” Those strikers – the much-coveted, elusive Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan, who scored both goals - were decisive as Atletico Madrid won the inaugural Europa League. “It’s been like a dream for me and the rest of the players,” Etuhu added, but for that dream to continue Fulham had needed a fully-fit Bobby Zamora. |
