Akon to Produce Theme Songs for 2010 FIFA World Cup

Aliaune Thiam of 36 is known as Akon by his stage name is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer. Recently he was chosen for the arrangement of the official theme songs for the 2010 World Cup soccer competition which is scheduled between June 11 and July 11, 2010 in South Africa.

He was originally from the Senegal and become the musical director of the 2010 World Cup event.

Akon says that World Cup anthem and music at the ceremonies will manage by him and he will be going for the meeting on this week. He loves soccer and its great honor for him. He is also friend of British soccer star David Beckham. For more info.click here.
