Eugene Wilson Injured by Brett Favre

American Footballer Eugene Wilson had to suffer a Knee injury during the team’s preseason game on Monday, August 31, 2009. The 28 years old Wilson was a possible cracked rib on Monday night at Reliant Stadium against the Vikings. Brett Favre managed to injure Texans safety Eugene Wilson by throwing down a prohibited "crackback" block.

Brett Favre threw a crackback block right into Wilson's knees during the preseason game where he was temporarily playing a different position. How serious the injury is still unknown. Some people are saying that the Wilson injury could have been a career-ender for Wilson.

Eugene Wilson said, "He did not see it coming. Favre hit him low and that was it for him for the night. It was a tough blow. He is happy to be walking". Wilson is now expected to play in the Texans upcoming game. Wilson was hurt afterward and hobbled off the field. Wilson has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
