
Team Sky have been formally included as one of the 22 teams in this summer's Tour de France. Triple Olympic champion Bradley Wiggins will lead Team Sky's challenge, the Englishman having finished an impressive fourth last year. Last year's winner, Spaniard Alberto Contador, will compete for Astana team. The US Radioshack team, led by seven-time Tour winner Lance Armstrong, who finished third on his comeback last year with Astana, are also in the field. Isle of Man rider Mark Cavendish will look to add to his total of 10 stage wins with his HTC-Columbia team. The event, which gets under way in Rotterdam, Holland, runs from July 3 to 25. |
