Sri Lanka has chance to leapfrog India in ICC ODI Rankings

If Sri Lanka could win the forthcoming five-match ODI series against England comprehensively, it has an excellent chance to move ahead of India into the second place in the ICC ODI Championship table. Sri Lanka trails second-placed India by one ratings point but will take sole position of second place if it wins the series 4-1 or better.

A 5-0 result will take India to 121 points, while a 4-1 score line will leave them a few decimal points short of Sri Lanka, who will have the opportunity to add to their tally when they clash against West Indies at home from December 9.
