ICC Cricket Awards 2008

The ICC award of this year 2008 was held in Dubai at night of Wednesday 10th September and here the players list that win award for different kind of trophy.

ICC Cricket of the Year

Shivnarine Chanderpaul: It is a bright, the West Indies in difficult times. After leaving Brian Lara, who has been running constantly, and it has become the top of the batsman. SOME HIGHLIGHTS - his hundred which helped the West Indies in their first test victory for the South African country, two efforts of 107 and unbeaten 77 against Australia who helped to save the former test, and, finally, you can forget hitting four and six off the last two balls, Snatch victory over Sri Lanka ODI. Test player of the year

Dale Steyn: Steyn-Gun is a title that has often been used in recent times. South African player with the pace and screaming a strong swing and seam has helped his team win the Test matches, Pakistan, Western India, Bangladesh, India and, most recently, England. ODI player of The Year

Mahendra Singh Dhoni: India's ODI captain was at the beginning of the matter and that he was receiving. Much has been said about Dhoni's sedate, a new style of German: Quilt m., which has avoided big shots ground strokes. But he uses this style to become the World No 1 this year. More info at wiki

Emerging player of this year

Ajantha Mendis: Even the great Muttiah Muralitharan can not create a sense of this soft voice tweak, Moratuwa has been created. Batsmen have struggled to pick up this mysterious player, and his "Lift the ball" has become the talk about the cricketing World. Twenty20 performance of Year

Yuvraj Singh: The Dash England surprised at the presentation of T20, the World Cup last year. The six-hit, six more than reaching an astonishing 12-ball fifty, who helped India to move, the semifinals. Then he produced an impressive 30-ball 70, which puts Australia, the semifinals. The Arbiter of the Year

Associated Player of the Year
