Delhi Daredevils to be based in Johannesburg

Delhi Daredevils will be based in Johannesburg for an eight-day camp ahead of IPL Season 2. It was a toss-up between Johannesburg and Pretoria but the franchisee prefers the former venue.

“In all probability we will be based on Johannesburg for a couple of days before the event kicks off,” said an official. While two of the four Australians in the squad - Glenn McGrath and David Warner - are slated to arrive in Delhi on Friday, Andrew McDonald and Dirk Nannes will join the team in SA. Paul Collingwood and Owais Shah too are expected to join the Daredevils camp in Johannesburg.
