Australia beat West Indies by six wickets to finalise the semi-final line-up in the ICC World Twenty20 today. England will play Sri Lanka in Thursday's first semi-final, with Australia taking on Pakistan on Friday. The final will be held in Barbados on Sunday. West Indies batted first in St Lucia but never threatened to post a decent total and were bowled out for 105. And their weak performance was summed up when captain Chris Gayle bowled a bizarre attempted bouncer which went for four byes to seal Australia's win with a total of 109 for four. |
