There's Connecticut and the rest of the field in this year's NCAA tournament. The Huskies are the only unbeaten and unchallenged team among the 64.

The other No. 1 seeds are a pair of teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference, Maryland and Duke, plus Oklahoma, the Big 12 regular-season champion. The Huskies, who defeated Oklahoma 106-78 in November, rate as the prohibitive favorite to succeed two-time defending Tennessee, which graduated all last year's starters and this year is seeded fifth, the lowest seed for the only school that has been to all 28 NCAA women's tournaments.
