NBA star Rodney Rogers Accident Report

Rodney Ray Rogers of 37 a former American basketball player and had a 12 year NBA career including a Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2000. Last week he was injured in a bike accident in which he left his shoulder with severe injuries. And now he paralyzed from the shoulder down due to a bike accident.

After his retiring in 2005, though he was “financially set,” he took a job as a heavy equipment operator for the city’s public works department because he wanted to daily work. He doesn’t like to sit at home so he started his own trucking company and was usually the lead driver. The health insurance doesn’t provide calamitous insurance for their retired players. 

Basketball was still in his blood and he was volunteer girls’ basketball coach at a local middle school. He had set up a computer lab in a nearby housing project where kids easily interact with their local hero.For more information click here.
