The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is held annually in March and early April. In a 19-day span tournament covers 13 cities and concludes in Detroit, MI, with the Final Four to determine the 2009 NCAA College Basketball Champion!

Selection Sunday : 15 March
Opening Round Game : March 17, 2009
First Round : March 19-20, 2009
Second Round: March 21-22, 2009
Third Round : March 26-27, 2009
Fourth Round : March 28-29, 2009
Final Four : April 4 & 6, 2009 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

2009 NCAA Selection Sunday

In 2009, Selection Sunday is on 15th March. Selection Sunday 2009 is a day of recognition for more than 65 NCAA teams. For the lucky 65, Selection Sunday is a great day when they are sent on their way to the final four. The 65 teams that make up NCAA Tournament field is selected by the NCAA selection committee is comprised of Athletic Directors and Conference Commissioners.
