NBA Playoff Betting - Magic Look To Extend Series Again

Like the 2006 World Cup betting final, which went to penalty kicks, Orlando’s Game 4 win over Boston needed extra time, and the Magic needed to pull a couple of tricks out of their hat to avoid elimination. The two will resume their series in Orlando on Wednesday night, and the Magic will have their back against the wall once again.

The Magic played like a team whose season was in jeopardy in a 96-92 overtime win over the Celtics in Game 4 in Boston, and Dwight Howard was a force with 32 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks. Jameer Nelson had 23 points, nine assists and five rebounds before he fouled out for the Magic, who hit 10 of their 28 three-point attempts. There were a couple of negatives to take from this game for Orlando, such as 19 turnovers and a 60.6% clip at the free-throw line. But the Magic kept their NBA championship betting odds alive with a performance that reeked of desperation, and it may have been enough to get them back into the series.
