The rookie delivered another solid performance in his second big-league start, leading the Yankees to a 2-1 victory Sunday and a series win over the White Sox.

“No pressure; I’m just having fun,” Nova said. “If you put in your mind it’s like a Triple-A game, you can just keep pitching your game and everything is going to be fine.”

This is far from Triple-A, of course, as the Yankees are locked in a heated race with the Rays and Red Sox for both the AL East title and wild card.[link url=http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2010/08/29/2010-08-29_rookie_ivan_nova_strikes_out_7_in_first_win_as_new_york_yankees_hold_off_chicago.html]
