MLB (Major League Baseball) All Star Game 2009 will be held on at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Tuesday, July 14th and The 2009 American League (AL) and National League (NL) MLB All-Star teams were released on Sunday 5th July, 2009 at 1 p.m.
The AL and NL All-Star squads have a total of eight selected starters and 24 reserves and pitchers. There will be 33 players on each league's roster. The eight position-player starters selected by a fan vote, eight pitchers and one reserve at each position selected by a vote among the players, coaches and managers and the remainder of the roster filled by the managers of each team Joe Maddon in the AL and Charlie Manuel in the NL.
