David Wright suffered a concussion as a result of being hit in the head with 94 MPH Fastball by San Fransisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain and will spend the night in the hospital. The injury was to Wright’s head on the left side, above the ear.

For this kind of injury Wright was hospitalized in New York city for special Surgery. And according to report Wright was released on Sunday, August 16, 2009, with "post-concussion symptoms." At the hospital, Wright underwent a CT scan which was negative. Wright, suffering from headaches, was ordered to rest at home. Enjoy the David Wright Concussion video below.
