Spring Clean Your Makeup Bag

Your first step in spring cleaning your makeup bag is to dump everything out, down to that last little eye pencil sharpener. "Wipe the bag out with a sanitizer or an alcohol wipe," says Lee Graff, a corrective makeup specialist and president of Cover FX, a skin clinic in Canada. "That will avoid any bacterial growth happening within the bag itself." If the bag is discolored or too hard to clean, it's time to toss it and get a new one. In addition, wipe clean pencil tips, and be sure to keep all items capped or closed.
