Philippa Forrester and family are so passionate about the river that flows outside their house, they made a film diary. There is a halcyon day every year. It is the same as the day when Mole, in a fit of boredom, threw down his feather duster and stomped off in search of something else, something outside the confines of domesticity, something twinkling and inviting in the sunshine, promising relaxation and escape, adventure and wilderness — the river. Mole finds it irresistible. We have all felt that same call that Mole hears. Messing about on the river is somehow in our blood. |
