Today, the modern marriage proposal is a lot more than simply buying a ring and getting down on one knee. Guys are going to great, and creative, lengths to pop the question.

Finding inspiration for a magical marriage proposal in similar to finding wedding inspiration, and for this future groom the 1985 film Back to the Future was his inspiration.

Corey Goldfeder met his future bride at a costume party. He came as Marty McFly and she was dressed as a girl from the 1950s.

For the proposal, Corey replaced footage of Michael J. Fox in part of the film with images of himself in the role. He created a green screen with disposable napkins and borrowed chroma-key equipment and spent over 15 hours editing the footage, including dubbing the conversation with Doc Brown. The new dialogue had Corey asking the Doc if he should propose.
