News: Clarcon Skin Products a Health Risk

Posted By hotbeautyhealth on Aug 02, 2009   FROM: hotbeautyhealth.com report abuse

I was reading the news today and the FDA has issued a warning against Clarcon skincare products because it contains various types of bacteria. Yikes!!

It contains disease carrying bacteria in high levels. The good news is that the US Marshall has seized all Clarcon products and ingredients from the Utah-based manufacturing facility. Here are a list of Clarcon products that contains the bacteria:

  • Citrushield Lotion
  • Dermasentials
  • Dermabarrier
  • Dermassentials by Clarcon Antimicrobial Hand Santizer (How Ironic!)
  • Iron Fist Barrier Hand Treatment
  • Skin Shield Restaurant
  • Skin Shield Industrial
  • Skin Shield Beauty Salon Lotion
  • Total Skin Care Beauty
  • Total Skin Care Work

That’s a lot of products. The bacteria that’s found in these products can cause serious infection that might cause permanent skin damage or even surgery. It cause damage to the underlying tissue so if you use Clarcon products and you are showing signs of infection such as redness, swelling, or painful skin, go see your doctor immediately!

There has been no reported cases of infection so far from the Clarcon products. The Clarcon products were made to prevent bacterial infection yet it seems they are now the cause of it.

Unbelievable! It’s very scary to hear and this company has over 800,000 products throughout the US since 2007. It took 2 years for the FDA to figure out that Clarcon products are dangerous. It makes you question whether these products were properly tested before it was made available to consumers? I’m guessing NOT!

If you are using any of Clarcon products, THROW IT AWAY!!!!!!!!
