The warnings are all clear and well-known; global warming, overflowing landfills, acid rain, are just a few of the aftereffects of our misuse to mother earth. In many cases we are not recycling because it is the cool or popular thing to do, actually we recycle because it is a necessity for commerce and replenishment of our planet.
When you hear the term recycling come up, you should try and think of the whole idea of –> Reduce –> Reuse –> Recycle
Common sense says that if you don’t need it, don’t buy it. If it is a must, then get something that can be recycled later on. What I have mentioned are all concepts that you have heard before, yet there are plenty of people that do not pay attention or realize the bigger picture surrounding their daily lives.
