A Brooklyn blogger is giving new meaning to meals on wheels. Nadia Ben-Marzouk, 24, launched a mission this week to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner off food trucks for 30 days. "It started as a compulsive decision," said Ben-Marzouk, who chronicles her adventure on foodtrucksally.blogspot. "This past Sunday night, I was watching 'The Great Food Truck Race' on the Food Network. And I'm always going on extreme diets." As a joke, the Hunter College archaeology student tossed the idea of a food-truck feast out to her boyfriend. "It seemed adventurous, chasing around these food trucks, trying to track them down around the city," she said. |
