Twitter blocked UberTwitter & Twidroyd

Since April 2010, Twitter has been connected with third-party Twitter apps UberMedia when they formed their first app as TweetUp. UberTwitter and Twidroyd are web-based applications operated by UberMedia, a famous independent developer of applications. UberTwitter has now changed its name as Ubersocial.

After suspending the UberTwitter and Twidroyd, the Twitter issued a statement on several websites by describing that UberMedia’s three apps UberTwitter, Twidroyd and UberCurrent had violated the Twitter policies. So the Twitter put ban over these apps. The suspended apps’ violations comprise trademark breach, a privacy issue with 140 characters long private Direct Messages, and varying users’ Tweets content for making gain. In fact, this suspension matter is earnest for the UberTwitter because the app has currently achieved about 20 percent of all daily tweets across the global. Twitter regularly takes steps for imposing its rules and regulations and even if anyone violates their API rules of the use, then twitter suspends it. Factually, it blocks above one hundred services in an average day. Currently, Twitter app is under control of Twitter executives.
