After Olympus and Panasonic also Samsung unveils its compact digital camera with interchangeable lenses without a mirror. NX10 NX is the first of the series and unlike its competitors with Micro Four Thirds sensor is equipped with an APS-C from 14.6 megapixel CMOS. All in a body from the design very similar to a conventional SLR cameras and equipped with electronic viewfinder VGA field of view coverage equivalent to 100%. With NX Samsung introduces his bayonet called NX Mount.

Metal body and polycarbonate, available in two colors, 'Noble Black' and 'Titan Silver', NX10 also has a screen with 3-inch AMOLED technology, which promises low power consumption, better viewing angle and higher contrast to LCD technology.

Like all modern cameras NX10 is able to take photos in the classic 3:2 format or 16:9 panoramic shooting video in MP4 format with three resolutions, 1280x720, 640x480 and 320x340, with the rate of 30 frames per second. Mono AAC audio.

Also in electronics company, NX10 offers autofocus phase contrast with the option of manual focus, Face Detection, 15 areas of focus in normal mode and 35 areas of focus in close-up mode. ISO sensitivity from 100 to 6400, multi-zone light meter to 247 segments, with center-weighted average metering and spot. NX10 save files in RAW format and with three levels of JPEG compression on SD or SDHC.
Sensor dust filter always clean thanks to Super Sonic Drive.

Feed through lithium ion battery.
All in a declared weight of 353 grams for the body only without memory and battery.

The shutter is the traditional focal-plane to vertical slats with times from 30 seconds to 1/4000 of a second bulb up to 8 minutes. Flash synchronization at 1/180 of a second.

NX10 is equipped with built-in pop-up flash with guide number 11 at 100 ISO, and TTL. Planned use of additional flash Samsung slider placed on the roof thanks to the camera.

Samsung also offers three new optics course called NX: 30 mm f / 2 pancake and two zoom with OIS optical stabilizer, the 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 credited with an aspherical element and the 50-200 mm f/4- 5.6 with two low dispersion elements. On the 35mm format equivalent focal lengths are respectively mm.42.6, 27.7-84.7 and 77-308. Both are equipped with zoom lens hood. Optional optics pancakes.
