Now, Indians can also watch and control their favorite standard-definition TV shows from anywhere in the world with the Slingbox devices. Recently, Sling Media announced that it has partnered with famous Indian e-commerce portals such as Rediff.com, eBay India and Infibeam.com, to bring its Emmy award winning Slingbox to the Indian online marketplace. With the flagship product of Sling Media, users can watch their living room television shows, sporting events and special programming at any time, from anywhere by using internet-connected tablets, PCs, PDAs, Macs, and smartphones. Slingbox is easy to set up and use with an on-screen remote control for setting your DVR recordings and changing channels. This additional box sits between wireless router and television set top box.

Slingbox lets you to connect with the website of Sling Media where a virtual image of remote controller of your set top box pops up and lets you to surf your desired channels; the only necessity is that your set top box must be kept in power on position.
