Honda CR-V Diesel version will come into India in late 2009. The current diesel engines in the market are quick, silent and efficient and they are giving petrol engines tough competition. Having manufactured only petrol engines for decades it has only recently manufactured the diesel engine in a bid to boost its sales.
The engine is commendable with a common-rail diesel engine and all four cylinders displacing a total of 2200 cubic centimeters. The features are enticing as before and Honda CR-V looks no different from its petrol sibling. The only difference being the power plant running them. The all new revamped Honda CR-V Diesel has great competition in Chevrolet Captiva, Hyundai Tucson, Nissan X-Trail. Honda CR-V Diesel Estimated price is around Rs 22.5 - 25 lakh.
