Canon has introduced the New Canon EOS Rebel T2i, full HD digital SLR camera with APS-C CMOS sensor of 18 megapixel, coupled with Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processor. ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 6400 (expandable to 12800) and has noise reduction technology for shooting in low light conditions. The product comes with Clear View LCD screen from 7.7 centimeters (3-inch) with 3:2 ratio and a resolution of 1,040,000 points. For focusing, the EOS Rebel T2i has a 9-point autofocus system with a central cross, exploitable targets with maximum aperture f/2.8 or faster. The new birth of Canon also supports a continuous shooting 3.7 frames per second (fps). The camera includes the measurement system iFCL introduced for the first time with Canon EOS 7D. New for the new EOS is the ability to set the upper limit of the Auto ISO setting, allowing you to control and contain the maximum amount of noise in images. For the first time in an entry level EOS, exposure compensation and bracketing, respectively, can be set up to plus or minus five stops. The EOS Rebel T2i is able to record movies in Full HD resolution (1920×1080) and allows you to set the frame rate to 30, 25 and 24 fps. In addition to the internal stereo microphone, the camera has a 3.5 mm jack, which allows the use of an external microphone. Thanks to an integrated HDMI port compatible with High-Definition Multimedia Interface – Consumer Electronics Control (HDMI-CEC) – video and images can be viewed on an HDTV-ready or higher and controlled using the TV remote control, to directly access to the controls Reproduction of the camera. EOS Rebel T2i is fully compatible with all Canon EF, EF-S lenses and EX Series Speedlite flash units, including the Speedlite 270EX. The camera goes on sale in March at suggested price of $799.99 Tax included in body only and $899.99 Tax included in a kit with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS. |
