Marc Andreessen's social Web browser RockMelt Beta is now available to download for Mac and windows from www.rockmelt.com. Upon launching RockMelt, the browser prompts you to log into your Facebook account using Facebook Connect. Interaction with Facebook contacts is then available in a left sidebar. Links, and other content from webpages can be dragged right to the sidebar, which can then be shared directly with friends. Operating on Google Chrome's Chromium, RockMelt could become the social media guru's best friend and the web-savvy multitasker's main tool.
