Reliance Big TV is a DTH satellite television service provider in India. Reliance Big Tv is the 5th DTH service launched in India. First DTH service was launched back in 2004 by launch of Dish TV by Essel Group's Zee Entertainment Enterprises. It uses MPEG-4 digital compression technology. On August 19, 2008, Reliance Big Tv started operations. The aim of company is to provide the consumer with quality and enriched entertainment service at value-driven pricing.

Reliance Big TV is providing 160 TV channels and 10 FM channels on advanced MPEG-4 technology. Reliance Big Tv wants to get 50% of new DTH customers till ending of 2010. Reliance Big TV set top boxes will have Digital Video Recording facility. They deployed the most advanced MPEG4 technology which enabled them to deliver best quality digital audio-video to the consumer.

Reliance Big TV has declared special packages for this summer season priced at Rs 1490 and Rs 1790. With 1790 Rs offer, customers get free subscription along with a regional pack for the first three month. While in the 1490 offer, customers can get the option of buying multiple channel packages ranging from Rs 98 and to Rs 465 per month. And the starter pack of Rs 98 comes with 68 channels which include major channels like Star, Sony, Max, Sahara, Colors.
