BioWare, the developer that believes certain videogame characters are "defined by their attractiveness", has commissioned Japanese figurine company Kotobukiya to make a Bishoujo version of Shepard's blue-skinned (possible) squeeze Liara. Kotobukiya made his name by creating statues of similar style for different other media but the rendition of the well-known Mass Effect character really hasn’t gone down well mostly due to the over sexualisation of a character known for not boasting her assets in any way at all in the game. Facebook fan response has been largely negative. What do you think? |
