This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, creative teacher of PE to be part of a successful team who continue to raise the standards of PE and develop the ethos of this Sports College. Initially this is a long term role for 2 terms due to the promotion of the Head of PE and some need to consider restructuring within the department.

The school has excellent facilities with extensive playing fields, brand new floodlit tennis courts, a state of the art dance studio, gym, swimming pool, specialist PE classroom and recently completed a GBP 650K refurbishment of their sports hall and changing facilities.

The last OFSTED inspection in March 07 recognised it as a 'good school' overall with 'outstanding' care guidance and support, and partnership working. The report also recognised the positive impact for PE and School Sport on many aspects of the school's work.

This is a Key Worker position and support for housing may be available.
