Jobs India on fast-track post liberalization

India is world’s largest growing economy. Almost all the multinational companies have set up their shops here. This has led to the rise in significant job opportunities in India.

Moreover, proactive government policies and measures have also helped in the creation more and more job opportunities in India. Moreover, the constantly rising economy is also helping the country achieve its full potential.

Years and years of British rule in India had left the country poor and plundered. Post independence, the government adopted socialist measures with bare minimum participation from the private sectors. The policies adopted no way helped the country as the poor remained poor.

However, a lot of resistance was faced from third wing parties against the economic liberalization in the country. When the Indian government decided to tread the economic liberalization route, it was because of the bad economic situation of the country and the economy had become complacent. However, international monetary fund (IMF) and other foreign agencies wanted India to initiate economic liberalization for the growth of the country. Meanwhile, China had already initiated liberal policy and was already treading the path to economic progress. Many other East Asian countries also set off on the path of economic liberalization at that time.

In 1990, the Indian government under the leadership of Manmohan Singh started economic liberalizations in India. Opposition parties were not happy with the policy initially; however finally things fell in line, and results started showing up in the subsequent years. A large number of multi national companies started trooping into India to do business and soon India became a compelling destination for foreign companies.

Today, India is looked upon as one of the fastest growing economies. In fact it is the second fastest growing economy in the world. Most of the world’s largest companies have their operations in India. And this led to creation of jobs never witnessed before.
