Application Fee:-

Candidates have to pay Rs.700/- through Online/ Offline Mode.

1. Online Mode: Candidates have to pay the fee through net banking of IOB or any other Bank. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated, retain it for future use.

2. Offline Mode: Candidates have to pay the fee through System generated Challan at any of Indian Overseas Bank’s branches. Candidates have to collect transaction ID, retain it for future use.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. Economist:

Age Limit: 40 Years
Educational qualification: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess post graduate degree in Economics with specialization in Monetary/ Financial economics from any having acquired at least 3 years of work experience in a commercial bank/ finance institution.

2. Chief Economist:

Age Limit: 45- 62 Years
Educational qualification: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess post graduate degree in Economics with specialization in Monetary/ Financial economics from any having acquired at least 3 years of work experience in a commercial bank/ finance institution.

3. Chartered accountant:

Age Limit: Below 62 Years
Educational qualification: The candidates applying for this post should have passed the final examination exam for chartered accountant and should hold experience of serving as assistant general manager with at least 10 to 12 years in public banking sector.

4. Chief Customer Service Officer:

Age Limit: Not below 60 Years
Educational qualifications: The candidates applying for this post should be retired general manager from any other public sector bank other than Indian Overseas bank and should hold ten years of experience as a general manager in any bank.

Pay Scale:-
• Economist: Rs 60,000 per month
• Chief economist: Rs 75,000 per month
• Chartered accountant: Rs 60,000 per month
• Chief customer service officer: Rs 60,000 per month

How to apply:-
In order to apply, the candidates are required to log in to the official bank’s website www.iob.in/ and fill in the application form in the prescribed manner on or before 30.08.2014. After filling the application form candidates need to upload their signature and photograph to complete the application and click submit. On submission the candidates would get a registration number. They need to take the print out of the filled in and submitted application form for future use.

The candidates must have to attach the relevant certificates and documents supporting their claims made in the application form in an envelope “Application for the post of_____ in Indian Overseas Bank” and send it through ordinary post to ‘The Assistant General Manager, Human Resources Development Department, Indian Overseas Bank, Central Office, No. 763, Anna Salai, Chennai- 600002’ on or before 06.09.2014.

Selection process:-
The candidates will be short listed through the documents and thereafter be called for interview.
