Wal-Mart slashed iPhone 3GS by 50%

Despite iPhone 4G/HD isn’t official yet, Wal-Mart has slashed the prices of the iPhone 3GS to staggering $97 from $199 US dollars. So if you are die-hard fan of Apple, just hurry to Wal-Mart and grab it.

However, you have to sign a 2-year contract with AT&T in order to get the iPhone at $97. Still it is an excellent deal.

Wal-Mart even said that it will retire iPhone 3G (8GB) as the iPhone 3GS is getting older. In the earlier case, when iPhone 3GS was released it slashed iPhone 3G price to $99 from $199. The excitement towards iPhone 4G has gone up with the leak of its specs and photos. Apple has included all new stuffs/ features in the iPhone 4G.
