Sony Ericsson is to release Xperia X8 this year with Android 2.1 and 720p high definition video capturing ability. The Xperia series has models of varying sizes with X8 falling at the middle. X8 is a downgraded version of the larger X10 mini. The camera of X8 is of 3 megapixels only but the screen size and resolution have been improved. This has an improved effect on the image quality. Features Xperia X8 has a 3 inch display with a resolution of 320x 480 pixels supporting 16 million colors. It uses a 600 MHz CPU and Android 1.6 operating system and Android user interface. The camera used in X8 is of 3 megapixels and it has fixed focus. There is 128MB of internal memory along with a 2GB micro SD card. It supports Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, digital compass, a micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, GPS with A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack. It uses a HTML web browser. |
