No color Amazon Kindle as of now

Despite the overwhelming sales of the Apple iPad in the early time of its release, Amazon is not keen on bringing Color Kindle in the near feature to contain the threat to its eBook business. Though it has not ruled completely in bringing Color Kindle down the line, it may not happen any time soon.
According to the CEO and the Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos, adding to color to the electronic inc based Kindle is a quit of difficult task, Amazon lab is not yet ready for prime time production. He also said that you can’t call it iPad as an specific eBook reader and both are different devices which have their own advantages, so there is no chance of overlapping.
