The following is a copy of my "complaint/question" to Walmart.com Customer Service. I will post their answer and the outcome of whatever happens. Sent in June 25, 2012: "Order #XXXXXXX-XXXXXX iTomic IEBR7C 7" eBook Reader. I received this on Saturday, very fast shipping by the way, just in time for Mothers Day; I thought I was going to have to give a late gift. Now for the bad news. I have two complaints. First is not my main issue, the website does not give enough info.
I was totally unaware the e-reader Requires Wi-Fi connectivity to function, so now we must invest in a wireless router just to use this device. At only $29 I thought I found the bargain of the year. BUT I am having technical issues, I took the device to Starbucks to "register the DRM" so we could access the pre-loaded 150 books, and all we get is some certificate syntax error. I wouldn't be talking to you right now, except the company that makes this e-reader seems to have disappeared! The Customer Support Center phone # (855-223-5450) and website www.itomicusa.com are both disconnected!
