Endometriosis-Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Endometriosis is a disorder that is found in women in their middle ages. It is a female reproductive system disorder, in which the tissues lining inside the uterus are found growing outside the uterus. This tissue that lines the inner walls of the uterus is called endometrium. This tissue outgrowth can be found on fallopian tubes, ovaries, pelvic organs and abdomen.

The causes of Endometriosis are not yet found. The possible factors that affect endometriosis are: genetic factors, low fertility, late menopause or early periods. The main symptoms of endometriosis are: painful and frequent periods, pelvic pain and pain during urination, pain during sex, fatigue, excessive or abnormal bleeding, and fatigue. If not treated properly, endometriosis can cause complications such as: premature delivery, miscarriage, ruptured cysts, reduced fertility, risk of ovarian cancer and so on.
