The highly featured and expensive camera mobiles are common in Asia and Europe while the US market does not release many such models. Previously Verizon introduced the FlipShot U900 and Samsung A990 with 3.2 megapixel camera and poor image quality. But currently Verizon has introduced the Exilim C721 manufactured by Casio. It is a high end camera handset. It is a competitor to the LG EnV and Samsung Omnia the handsets.

Features

The display of C721 is a TFT screen that measures 2.3 inches with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. It supports 65 K colors and has LED backlights. There is also an external LCD monochrome display with a resolution of 96×32 pixels. It has a 5.1 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash. The camera can capture images with a maximum resolution of 2560×1920 pixels, there is an internal memory of 128 MB and you can add either a micro SD or a micro SDHC memory card that is expandable up to 8 GB. It supports Bluetooth connectivity. It has a HTML browser and a TV out connection. The battery used in C721 is estimated to provide up to 230 minutes of talk time and up to 540 hours of stand by time.
