Recipe of Monkey Bread making Method and Ingredients
Kids love to eat Monkey bread, the smell of cinnamon is very good and by eating a sticky treat with your fingers makes it delicious. Monkey Bread Recipe is not grainy like some other recipes that are too heavy on the sugars or too light on butter.
Monkey Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 cans refrigerated biscuits
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 sticks butter (3/4 cup)
- 1/2 cup raisins (these are optional, it is great with or without them)
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Method:
Put oil in a 9-10 inch tube pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium sized plastic bag, put white sugar and cinnamon in it. Take biscuits, incise quarter or halves part of the biscuits. Put six to eight biscuit pieces in the cinnamon sugar mix and stir well. Organize pieces in the base of the oiled pan. Now layer the biscuit pieces, continue it until all the biscuit pieces are covered in the pan. If you want to use raisins, place them among the biscuit pieces as you are layering.
Take a small saucepan; put the butter with the brown sugar in it and melt over medium heat. Boil it for 1 minute. Pour it over the layered biscuits. Bake it for 35 minutes. Take it out of oven and let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out on a plate. Now it is ready for eating, so eat and enjoy.
