Denbies Chalk Ridge Rose 2010 was the only still rose out of 367 different bottles submitted from 21 countries to win a gold medal at the IWC, widely regarded as the most important of the many international wine competitions. "We are just ecstatic," said Jeannette Simpson, the business development manager at Denbies, a family-owned estate. "We have been celebrating with some glasses of rose all morning." |
