TV Review: 'Rubi' unexpected comedy

I must say that I had very high expectations of ABS-CBN's Rubi since its lead star Angelica Panganiban is the perfect choice for the role.

I endured the first three episodes with the show still establishing the plot with a young Rubi, showing how she was toughen up by the cruelty of circumstances and by poverty.

But the episode with grown up Rub
