TV Ratings: 'Magpasikat' beats rival - Mega Manila AGB (Jan. 8-12, 2009)

After the surprise suspension of Showtime by the MTRCB, the replacement show Magpasikat which was conceptualized just for 12 hours still ruled the 10:30 am timeslot beating rival Kapuso Movie Festival.

It seems that the controversy surrounding the suspension of Showtime kept the hype that its replacement show still received high ratings, even beating Wowowee.

Of course, we opted to edit the ratings sheet as based on actual TV viewing, Daisy Siete is against Wowowee and not against Nagsimula sa Puso. I still wonder why AGB keep on insisting Daisy Siete as the main competitor of Nagsimula sa Puso when in fact its entire run is against Wowowee.
