Amul "Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva" LIVE show on Vijay TV

The first dance reality show on Vijay TV is the Amul “Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva”, had given a chance to perform all talented dancers across the state. The show started on August 2008 and chooses participants across Tamilnadu and thousands of dynamic contestants were from Kovai, Tiruchi, Madurai and Chennai. The winner was chosen by the dancing idol, Prabhu Dheva.

“Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva” is the only television show that has given the participants a chance to perform some interesting and unique dancing themes like solo, pair round, filmy funda, dance-like-a-hero or heroine, Broadway musical, salsa, Jazz and ballet different from other regular types.

The various episodes of the show were judged by famous choreographers of the film industry, including dance master Johnny, Ashok Raja, master Raguram and Cool Jeyanth. Many other popular faces like Sneha, Gayatri Raguram, Lakshmi Rai, Simbu, Shyam, Shanthnoo etc. have judged the performances of contestants.

Out of thousands of contestants four finalists were selected and it was held among thousands of LIVE audience on June 26, 2009 in YMCA, Royapettah, at Chennai. From the four finalists Prem Gopal, Sherif, Nanda and Manojkumar, the title of "Next Prabhu Dheva" was won by Sherif. The winner was also given the cash prize of Rs. 10 lakhs.
