Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Episode 9 (S09e09) 'US Vs UK'

Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Episode 9 was released last week. In The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 9 Episode 9 was fight between Frank Lester from USA and Dave Faulkner from Team UK. The US Team gets the Chance to fight again after losing his first fight. Lester is picked to fight Team U.K. David Faulkner.

First this game fight between Miller and David Faulkner but Miller does not get cleared to fight because of his broken nose so Frank Lester lives again. Hendo draws Lester aside and provides him extra notice since he is fighting on short notice. There is a general agreement that Lester might be too banged up to pull this one off. Pierce expects Lester gets out of the fight with no pain or injuries.

Finally we get the announcement of Dave Faulkner vs. Frank Lester. Team UK gets priority on the gym training times and now has to wake up brilliant and early to teach. Lester could use some reprogramming himself as he worries himself in his bedroom the night before the fight.

As both fighters get ready, Hendo tells Lester to relax, no worries, while Bisping tells Faulkner to go right through his opponent’s head. Attractive dichotomy between the two.

David Faulkner vs. Frank Lester

Round 1
Faulkner starts with a couple of leg low kicks. Lester shoots back a leg kick about twenty times in the first minute. Lester works a couple of pokes after Coach Hendo shouts it for forty times. The fighters’ hurries and they go to the cage. Faulkner changes levels and he looks for a take down but Lester protects well. Finally both are separate and square up again. They swap Thai settles and Lester eats a vast left before getting taken down. Faulkner clips him but is sucking storm. Lester looks uncertain and gets blasted with a couple of shots and a knee. Faulkner’s hands are slow and Lester wings some punches. This one Faulkner ducks out of the way.

Round 2
Faulkner is gassed but he eats a punch by Lester. Lester kicks of Faulkner right hand by his Head. The fighters begin swapping and both are involving with huge shots. They settle and go to the cage. Lester takes the plum and lands some knees to the body. Faulkner does the same but Lester is attacking confidently. Faulkner puts his hands on his knees in tiredness. Lester flings some shots and they settle up. They work for place against the cage until time end.

Round 3
David Faulkner quits from the game. He wanted no part of a third round. He gives Hats off to Lester for his nine lives

Team US obtains a big increase in morale at that time a puzzled Team UK tries to figure out what went wrong. Faulkner seems very happy-go-lucky, talking about enjoying the fight while the rest of his team is meeting there furious.
