Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina Episode 1

18 new contestants, this time celebrities, make up the Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina cast. In addition, Mark Bayly, who hosted the first two editions and was often accused of being too wooden, has now been replaced by actor Nico Panagio.

This season we head to Santa Carolina, an island off the coast of Mozambique in East Africa that was also called Paradise Island, now a deserted paradise.

Before being tossed overboard, 7 of the contestants are told that they’ll be receiving shoes and a machete, but no more. What they don’t know is that there actually are supplies in boxes written in Portuguese, which will be lugged by an additional group of contestants.
